It's finally here! This has been a frequently requested flavor due to people wanting us to try and make a dupe of the discontinued sour tangerine candies from the early 2000s. We have actually made many attempts at this over the last year but it was literally inedible so we shelved the idea. We wanted to figure it out for the natural flavor launch and I'm happy to say we finally got it right! It's not an exact dupe of the discontinued ones, rather our own take on them. The original ones used to be coated in a malic acid on the outside which gave it a strong initial pucker sensation that mellowed to a sweetness. We do not coat ours, but we upped the total citric and malic acid and mixed it throughout which gives it a consistent sourness all the way through.
